What kind of bulb and how do you change 'em that illuminate the names of the switches along the bottom of the dash. I only have one working now. I found nothing in my manuals.

Im not sure witch one you are talking about.
there is a panel with 2 screws above the heater controls that has lights in it.
on the panel with the ignition switch on some models it has just one illuminated....yours might be that model. I don't think all of it is illuminated.

You can replace the dash bulbs with a #198 wedge base. Its brighter than the stock (#158, I think?) but is same size and base. One of the most common automotive bulbs.

Since were on the topic of dashlights, i got a problem too. If i just turn on my parking lights, my dashlights work, but if i turn on my headlights, my dashlights quit. Could it be that i just need a new switch?

Yeah, either that or you need to get under the dash and make sure that the wire for the dash is actually connected to the "fully out" position where your headlights are on.
