Can someone help me with this. Idk what this thing is. It has some hoses connected to it. Its behind he driver on the bed on a 74 luv

It goes with the emissions. Charcoal canister I believe.

It's the fuel vapor seperator. It condenses the fuel vapors and returns any liquid fuel back to the tank. An emissions thing.

Mine is smog exempt do I need it or is it critical for the truck running in good shape
