ok guys I have one good bolt and on bolt in two pieces. had the local machine shop take the broken bolt out of the cylinder shaped nut. these bolts are not readily available at our local auto parts store, also napa, and john deere. being a fine thread metric is tuff luv. any body know where to buy new bolts, maybe fasten-all our nearest dealer is about 40 miles away and they are hard to reach on the phone.

I had the same problem, ended up pulling a spare bolt from a parts truck. I can tell you that a 77 2WD and a 79 4WD use the same bolt even though there are some differences on the torsion bar and arm.

Maybe check places like Grainger and McMaster-Carr?
