I been reading here about how others have done away with the brake booster and went to a simple master cylinder setup, mostly 90's dodge caravan. Anyone got any pics of that conversion? Do you have to swap out proportioning valve - what about brake lines, any modifications? I have a 350 40 over in mine with s-10 rear end and pretty much stock luv front end and brakes. Any insights and/or pics would be appreciated.

I did this with the aerospace brake rod kit and the caravan master . It is important to get the brake pedel ratio correct so you have enough leverage . I make a thick plate and bolted it to the fire wall then bolted the new master to that . I pulled the pedel and redrilled the hole higher to get goot ration . Brake lines had to be reflared for the standard fittings ( double flair ) .I dont run a prop valve as i have 4 wheel disc aerospace .

Just for the record , i have been really fast with factory set up and ford 9 inch with drums . Power brakes make these trucks lethal footbrake racers

Thanks for the pics and info. I know for my truck you better hold on when you punch the gas. Braking always seemed lacking which made it a little scary.
