The windshield washer pump on my '77 luv doesn't work. The reservoir holds H2O. Where is the pump and are there replacements available? Thanks....Don

The pump is under and behind the reservoir. I have had some luck in the past taking them apart and cleaning and working the motor until it spun again. I'm not sure what would replace it but I bet there is something generic that would fit, it hooks to both the reservoir and the output with hoses. You just need one that is similar sized and has hose fittings in and out.

I had a junkyard in Oregon send a 'new to me' bottle and pump for something like 15 bucks. Kind of a crapshoot, but if yours is shot, that's the easiest way to an exact replacement.

Please do let us know if you find a new water pump that fits...

Not sure if this will work but it looks pretty similar IIRC. (not sure about the differences between 77 and 78+)

That one looks so similar that the bottom part with the input might interchange with the stock one. From my memory all the trucks I have had (76-80s) had an input the same diameter as the output on that one. Small short hose going into the tank and then a small hose leading out to the sprayers. I could be wrong though, the most recent 79 I was driving was a mix of years all over it, wing window doors, 4x4, 4 headlights, etc.
