Well the other day I was cruisin around with some buddies, shut the truck off multiple times and it fired right up. The next day I drove it to a buddies house, parked and shut it off. When I went to leave it wouldn't start. Has no spark.at coil. So I checked the regulator fuse, was good. Swapped 3 different coils and still no spark. My money is on bad points, but let's here what you guys think

Points or condensor could definitely be the cause. Are you getting power to the coil though? Check it just sitting key on and while cranking both. Check the ballast resistor too. Could be toast and not sending power to the coil while you are cranking it over.

found out the problem, and its getting fixed. the issue was the engine is a 4 cylinder and not a v8. new points and condenser and it fired up, drove into the garage to pull the engine!
