My carb is bad and i need a new one, i was gonna try to rebuild it but i was told that hardly works on these stock carbs so i am gonna buy a new one, i have no money right now, im 15 and have no job except for mowing lawns, i talked to my uncle and he said he will give me $150 to do 16 hours of work for him and im gonna do that, but that is still only about half way to a weber, and i really want this truck to run soon, so i was wondering if there is any other option for a carb that is decent but not as expensive as a weber, any help would be greatly appreciated.

a weber is pretty much your best option. you can find one used and see if redline will sell you the adapter kit without the carb. beyond that you can either rebuild the stock one or try to hunt down something else that fits but you will save a lot of time and probably waste less money on a weber

looks like the one I got mostly, gasket looks different.
you can give them a call or email and make sure, most of them will ask what model yours is for before they ship it.

Get the K696 kit, it will have the 32/36 DGEV carb, the correct adapter for a LUV intake, an air cleaner & installation & tuning instructions. You're just asking for problems getting parts piecemeal from several sources, you will spend more than what you may have initially saved by the time you get everything to fit together & function properly.

would mean you have a leak either in a hose or around a gasket on the intake. check the ends of the hoses on the intake manifold and make sure none of them are worn out or split
