I'm getting rid of my points on my 80' and am not sure which part to buy. I've read all the talk on luvtruck on which one people are using, but im still confused. If i could get some advice thatd be great! heres what ive got so far

but i went on pertronix website and their 1641 is classified as an "ignitor II" does that mean this one is an "upgrade"? if so will the hotter spark be okay?

if you use the flame thrower 2, you can remove the resistor that is on the fender well or you can use the stock coil and leave the resistor hooked up ( you have to use the resistor with stock coil).

wow im totally new at electrical.. Do these conversion kits come with a flame thrower 2? I'm so confused on which to buy..
