hi i was wondering if anyone knew of a replacement head bolts for a 1.8l or a place to buy new ones. the orginals are rounded out by last owner and junk. please help

Hi....I had the same problem. Couldn't get that bolt off for nothing. I finally used a makita 4" grinder with a thin cutting wheel and cut the head off the bolt. Then I went to 'Copperstate Bolt and Nut'. They are here in Phoenix but you surely have a similar store in your town or near by. I bought 2, I think, and they were about $3.00 each. The head was a 5/8" socket. The only trouble You'll have is when you torque them down. You gotta keep switching from the hex allen socket to the regular one. I fixed that by putting the new bolt at the front edge of the head. It seemed easier to me because that's usually where your end up in the torque sequence. Don

Check with headbolts.com and look for 4ZD1 Isuzu 2.3L bolts or 4ZC1 2.0, they are the same specs. You might also find bolts for those motors other locations like ebay.
