I was changing the wiper motor in my 78 Luv last weekend, and when I tried to re-attach the wiper linkage arm onto the motor, the little plastic bushing that is on the end of the linkage arm broke! Does anyone have one to sell? i have went to a few parts stores to no avail.

Thanks!

Do you have pictures of this part?

I have a 79 with wipers that are not working right now and I had another 79 years ago which I took the whole wiper system out of before I junked it (it was totally rusted out).

I might have an extra one but I honestly can't remember a plastic bushing?

OK let's try this again
I have a small lathe and can tun small parts in aluminum Teflon plastic mild steel. I could most likely build these if I had one for a pattern, and it would help if I had the two related parts. I'm going to guess that Teflon or aluminum would work best. Something this small should be easy, And cheap. Any one have some pictures? This would give an idea what we are talking about.

im thinking it is the little bushing that sits between the motor and the wiper arm that the assembly pivots on but i cant shimmy myself up under the dash to get a good look

Is this the plastic part you are talking about? Mine is cracked too and never got around to replacing it.
