So, i went through the pain of ordering a rebuilt brake master cylinder and it only took 3 weeks of differnt stores ordering it for me to get one. So i figured no big deal. Bench bleed it, installed it, started bleeding lines. Started at pass rear, then driver rear, then front pass and finally driver front. So, the bad part is i cant get total brake to build up at floor. So, i looked at that banjo fitting that splits both front lines out of rear pot on MC and i see fluid leaking up around the threads in that fitting that runs over to the pass front corner! I'd take a picture of it right now, but i'm out of batterys in the camera and its raining cats and dogs. Its a long line and intermingled with wireing and other lines running on the fire wall. It doesnt leak that much fluid in 24 hours, perhaps about 3 drips. However, if its leaking, its also sucking air. No good.

My question, is there some sealant i can put on the threads to seal it, or perhaps cut off that fitting, put on a new one and re-flare it? I'd really hate to buy a new line, spend the time to bend it AND snake it through all that stuff on the fire wall.

I managed to find this thread: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=23502&hilit=brake+line
but this must be one of those days that the coffee isnt working and i'm not certain WHICH 4x4 line he's talking about and i've got a 2 wheel drive.

Thank you all for your help.
