Hi guys.....I'm having a 'drip' problem with my carb at idle. I can look down the barrel and see gas sort of half spraying-half dripping onto the butterfly below the primary barrel. Today I did a complete removal and cleanout of the carb and when I reinstalled it, it did the same thing. Runs lousy at idle and surely won't pass emissions. The exhaust smells rich and and the idle is bad. Float level is good and I don't think there are any vacumn leaks. I checked all the vacumn lines with two manuals---Haynes and Chevy LUV series 6. I think they are all in the proper place. It will idle down to 900 or so but the idle surges up and down with all the excess gas on the butterfly. Anyone have any ideas why the mixture is not atomizing like it should?? Also, the jet is emitting gas but it is not leaving the jet in a nice spray pattern.....that's where the 'drip' comes in.....Thanks to all, Don
