My idler arm is shot. Apparently all you can buy is the bushing. I have the idler arm off the truck and can't get the top nut to budge. For anyone who has replaced the bushing, any tips on disassembling?

After I took Idler arm mine off my Luv, my mechanic said the bushing fit loose, so he carefully put in a type of apoxy so the bushing fit flush. The grease seal, I could not find a match for. For now I just regrease the fitting more often.
If anyone finds a grease seal for the I.A., let me know! 8)

I took mine off about a year ago, and I don't recall anything special about the nut. It was tight, but that's what cheater bars are for.

Get a big-old breaker bar. It'll come loose.
