I need to pick up some body parts like rocker panels floor pans. And I was just wAs just wondering if the 1982 s10 had the same exact body. Also if any one knows where I can purchase these body part that would be greatly apriciated. Thanks guys

Come on, think about the question. There is no answer, because there was no 1982 S10.

The LUV was made by Isuzu in Japan. The S10's were made in America by Chevrolet. They are totally unrelated.

Sorry Jack but the S10 did debut in 1982. You might be thinking about the blazer which didnt come out until 83 and to answer the original question, nothing will interchange between the two.

Well, I was wrong. Mytmouz corrected me about the 1982 S10. But body parts are still not interchangeable.

Yeah, I have an '82 model S10. First year. I can totally attest to the fact that there are '82 S10s.
The LUV and S10 are cousins, actually, the LUV is S10's big (older) brother :ebiggrin

The only similarity is their size. The pre 81 LUV has a very "Asian" look, where the S10 has the typical American designer's look to it.

But that second pic of your isn't an 81. I'm talking about when they changed to the second gen for those two years that look similar to an s10

I guess the '81 Luv did start looking like an S10.
More squared off, 90* angles, blockhead. Mongoloid...
I tried to attach a pic, I guess that's illegal at this forum.
