So the truck was running a little rough (79 1.8L stock) so I decided to adjust the carb in accordance with the Haynes manual. I did everything that it said and the truck was idling perfect. Let it run while I wiped down some dirt and what not in the engine bay and then turned it off. Then it wouldn't start back up... So I decided to up the idle a whole bunch with the screw and it started and idled very very high so I backed it off and performed the adjustment settings again, but the way the instructions on the hood said. Ran perfectly drove it for a while and shut it off... I thought I wonder if it would start, and it did not... Any ideas? I don't know a whole lot about carbs but it blows my mind that it started just fine and now its being a punk. Thanks guys!
