Ok so I realize that nobody knows where to get a stock dash board, but I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to maybe rebuild one. The 79 Luv I have didn't have anything in it when I got it. The dash is just bare metal. At first, I thought it looked ok, but now I have decided to try and find one. I know I probably won't find any. Any suggestions would be nice. :D

Well, if you want to get creative you could go to a junkyard and try to get several pieces of LUV dash and splice them together. Then you would have a base for a dash cap. Or you could wrap it in some kind of thin foam and have it upholstered.

I think this turned out well:

in my first luv, we just smoothed out the front side of the dash, and painted it black. and glued a plastic dash top cover to it. looked good IMO

That looks really good! How did you handle the defroster ducting and speaker? Thanks
