Blew my head gasket. Big surprise right.? Any ways pulled my engine. The tension timer broke in my '79 4x4. Was in ok shape. But I wana rebuild it. I got two. A '78 needs a new head. And '79 I just pulled. Using the goods from my '78 to finish my '79. But I wana rebuild my '78 and try and find a new head for my '79. I already went through all the yards in my area and cleaned out everything I could. Found a couple datsuns but engines were gone. My '78 is rusting, but the '79 is clean. In desperate need of help finding replacements, any would be great. I live in Coolidge, Arizona. Love my Luv just need new engine. Thinking about but not sure which I wana go for a engine swap, without costing me too much. Only working part time right now, but waiting for my tax return. So I will finally have money to buy and rebuild. Some of the posts I seen say ebay, and are older posts that are gone. Thanks in advance guys.

Take your head to a reputable machinist and put a new head gasket in! Get it checked,if it needs to be machined have it done and get back out on the road! Why rebuild?
