So I'm putting a 3 inch body lift on my 79 luv 4x4

I'd like to take the t bars back down all the way and put coilovers in or new shocks

I'm planning on moshing mud holes and flexing...also I preffer a slightly stiff ride but not back breaking
What should I go with.

coils are fairly painless to put up front and will give you a bit or adjustability on stiffness.. of course so would air assisted shocks.. if you want to keep the t bar go shocks... you can take it out and put a set of coilovers in there.. would be good for the wheeling around here. (Vancouver)

either way im sure you could find what you need that would be adaptable from an early toyota 4x4 used coils from a jeep maybe? lots of options for a budget mini 4x4 build in the pnw given the abundance of lifted yotas around here
