i have a 1980 chevy luv 4x4. stock 1.8L purchased first in southern california. repair manuals covers series 1-12. how do i figure out what series i have? according to http://www.luvtruck.com/pdf/80Dlr-Brochure.pdf the dealer info on this site it has my blue truck listed as series 10. am i correct?

yessir a 1980 is a series 10

series 11-12 are the 81-82 that are wayyy different than the 1980 and older models.

lol waiittttt just realised who asked.. that would be a yes'mam not a yessir XD but yes my 1980 4x4 is a series 10 LUV. i think the 9's and 10s are identical (79 & 80) but before that u start finding tiny differences like head lights etc but mostly the sae truck until you hit the non cross-flow head models
