will a crank from a 1.9 fit in a 1.8? The reason I'm asking is I'm buying an S10 with the 1.9 in it and it doesn't run. And I need a new crank for my 1.8. If this doesn't work then I'll have to buy another WHOLE TRUCK and I already have too many as it is.

Depends if it is an Isuzu motor or not...and if it is make sure you keep the rod and main bearings out of the donor motor because it will be easier to tell if the crank had been ground..sizing should be on the back of the bearings and take them to a machine shop to be cleaned and inspected before install!

Some people on here don't realize that kinds stuff. If I remember correctly the 1.8 and 1.9 will interchange. But why not build the 1.9? More cubic inches and more power at little sacrifice of mileage.
The heads will interchange too.

Actually the 1.8 head on the 1.9 bottom end will raise compression about one full point.
