Hey Guys, New to this site and sorry to dump this on you as a first post, but the Isuzu site is down and I am on the clock to fix the truck or trash it. I have a 1987 Pup 1.9 gas with a 4speed and am in the end phase of my first major-ish project of my life. Probably not much to you guys but the head gasket blew and rather then pay to have it fixed I dove in. Everything is back together but I am having a few issues figuring out where some vacuum hoses go and things like that. I had taken pictures to help with this but of course my girlfriend didn't delete them from the camera.... No she wouldn't do that!
1, A female connector coming up from under the battery tray area... Any idea where it plugs into?
2,Looking up under the intake manifold there is a whole that looks like it needs a bolt or something... But it could also be a drain or something???
3, Underside of the air cleaner has a hose that comes off but the crap diagram I have doesn't seem to show it. Where does it go to?
4, Between the carb and the valve cover there are 3 nipples for hose. What goes where? I know one goes to the valve cover but which?
5, The dreaded spare parts... Any ideas?
6, No pic but my buddy who helped pull it all apart swears the carb needs be filled with oil but I can find nothing about it taking oil. I know the old MG I had in University had oil pots but I can't find anything on here like that. Oil? No oil? Where? What kind? And how much?
We are moving in less then a week and the truck is on the chopping block because it's taken me so long to get it fixed and now the girlfriend hates it... So please help
