finally got weber carb installed and started. But!! what is supposed to hook up to idle cut off solenoid. I take it that it need some kind of power. Runs terrible otherwise. It also idles way to fast.Backed out idle screw and it still is to fast. Throttle cable has plenty of slack.
Iam open to any suggestions. This carb came off a running luv so jets etc should be correct. I know that there are some real wizards out there so help please.

Allan

This is funny. I had a stray wire with proper connector on it. Pluged it onto idle cut of and it runs great. I shall have to measure voltage one of these days.

My Weber did not have any idle cut off solenoid like the Hitachi did. Only one hook up was made and the other was not used. The only connection I had to make was the electric choke, it get a constant 12 volts once the key is on. I made an extension of the wire. I used the stock linkage with no slack and don't forget to re adjust the throttle pedal stop inside the cab or you can bend the linkage. Hope this helps. Here is what I did-
