Hi guys, have any of you used the turbo setup they have for 400 DOLLARS on ebay in your luv trucks? Is it worth putting in? I have a 79 and I am about to install a weber carb the rest is all stock. I know it wont be like my 77 with the 350 crate engine but would like to play around with turbo on the 79, Thanks for your help

to use that turbo system (it's a very unclear ad mind you, you don't really know what exactly your getting) you'd have to set up your carb to run a blow through application, which is quite time consuming and can be very expensive, or find someway to fuel inject your motor..... and you'd have to fab all the backets/piping/electronics.... that may say it's a trubo system for a luv for 400 bucks.... but it's just a universal kit that has nowhere near evrything you would need to turbocharge the 1.8L that came in these trucks..... i have never found a model/engine specific turbo for these trucks. Is it possible to turbocharge your Luv with that kit? Most Likely. but you'll be in it alot more than 400 bucks time it's said and done... and it will definately require some crafty fabrication and design.
