 Post subject: Turn Signal Switch

ok so i had changed my turn signal switch and now my left turn signal stays on all the time, as soon as i hook up the battery. So heres question one of two, does yalls likes work even when your key isnt in the ignition? and also what do yall think would be causin my turn signal to keep goin even when i try to turn my right turn signal on but it stops when i turn my hazards on?

Yes it will work with the key off. I bump mine once in a while getting out and to starts. Not sure why it would stay on unless the new switch is bad.

I remember some time ago when a bulb burned out on a taillight. It effected my signal flashing, and when I changed the bulb, it was back to norm.
Make sure all bulbs work- high and low.

alright guys thanks for all the feedback i figured out why my turn signal keep on flashin, in the switch there is a little copper piece that tells the truck which lights to flash and i had it pressed to one side when i put it on :lol: my bad guys hahah
