ok so i tried posting l;ast night but dont see it now... anywho, i want to put an s-10 rear end in my 79 long bed 2wd luv. is it a direct fit bolt in, or do i have to change drivelines? if i can keep my stock driveline do i need to change anything else? im stumped...

do you know which driveline to use? i wanted to go with a 350 in front but i'm thinkin i should just stick with the original g180, maybe eventually get a 5 speed for it but i deffinately want a rear end that i can have welded up.

You will need to get a shaft made to take the rear u joint to mate to the rear, with the front to mate to the yoke, either way, G180 or th350...

You will also want to find some chevy pattern wheels as they will not be the same. I didn't quite catch what tranny you are running, but if you have a T350/glide you can run a stock second gen camaro driveline with no mods in most cases, as they are the correct length for most swaps. FYI
