Hey! I bought one of those dizzy’s off ebay and was wondering what the correct wiring procedure is. I was looking at an old post and saw that ctmandu had this same dizzy and it worked for him so I am confident that it will physically fit in my 1980 Luv but I'm not confident about the wiring part. If you guys could direct me in the right direction that would be awesome. I believe in ctmanu’s post it said to connect the two wires to the + and - of the coil, but wanted to make sure. Including which wires go were. I don't want to burn up anything. Just paid 85 bucks for the thing and want to make it last. I've tried to fix my old points-type system but i'm tired of dealing with that and i want to "fix it and forget it" this time! Any advice would be a big help! The one I bought is below. Thanks :D

Oh nice that makes sense now! I just ordered a new cap and rotor for it and they are coming in tomorrow morning. I'm really excited! This is my daily driver and i put a lot of highway miles so i need it to run good. Thanks for the advice. This web cite has been the best resource for finding technical advice and what parts will work for what. :D
