I got an Isuzu cylinder head with an Offenhauser 6203 on Ebay. The seller stated that the head would fit a LUV, so I assume it came off an 1.8L. The only mark I can find are an "2-6" on the lower right corner on the intake side, so how can I tell which head it is? The manifold has the 6203 on the bottom, no H or W, but the stud pattern does not match the Hitachi. The spacing is about 3.7" or 94mm and 1.8" or 46mm, the primary and secondary openings are 36/40mm. I plan to use this manifold with a Weber 32/36,which I not yet have and would like to know if one will fit without an adapter and if it does, do I need a spacer? I thought I saw somewhere that you need a 1/2" spacer for throttle linkage clearance. I appreciate any info you folks can give a newbie.

What year is your truck? There were two different 1.8s used. The head you have there is for the later model, cross flow head, 1.8.

Thanks rondog, my truck is a '80 4x4. This manifold just came with the Offenhauser manifold that I wanted, this manifold is a spare I do not need. I have a good running motor and a rolled '81 4x4 with a complete drivetrain.

Had a brain fart while posting my last comment, meant to post that I bought the head to get the manifold.

I got a Weber DGEV and it fits this manifold and I am sure I can do the throttle linkage without a spacer. I plan to use the stock parts and modify to fit.

Did you say that you have a spare offenhauser intake 6203? If so, would you like to sell it? I need one for my 1980 4x4 as well. You can email me directly at tonymer1@yahoo.com. Thanks
