Hello. I'm new here and need some help. I just bought a '79 LUV 4x4 which is one of the coolest trucks I've ever owned. It has a couple issues.
1. The fuel pump isn't getting power. I checked the relay, works. Someone said if the alt. isn't working right, then it won't work. So when the engine is turning over but not started yet, it's sending enought power for the fuel pump to work?
2. When I bought the truck, it had some parts missing which were in the cab. But, some of the smog hoses, vacume lines, ect. aren't there. There is a thingy behind the smog pump that has like 3 hoses and 5 vacume lines coming off of it and I have no idea what the heck that thing is. Does anyone have a picture of the engine compartment or any help for me? I live in California so I have to have all that smog stuff hooked up.
