I own a 73' with the series 2 G180 and i hate working on it

my question is if there are any previous posts about swapping a older G180 for a newer G180?

if not is the change over fairly simple?

from what i know just by looking at the power by ace v8 swap stuff .. the brackets are different. but i DONT know if the mounting points on the block are different. i dont know why you wouldnt be able to put the older mounts/brackets you have on a newer engine. but then again .. there are plenty of people here who know way more than i do, all i am doing is making an assumption.
