So i have a automatic stock luv with a manual harness and i cant seem to figure out how to get the reverse lights going. I have looked at my diagrams and tried to get them to work but have had no luck I just can't seem to figure out how to wire them any ideas?

It should be pretty simple. The trigger switch from the manual should have two wires running to it and the one for the automatic should have two wires ..right?If you look at the diagrams there should show wither or not the switch grounds the circuit or excites it and go from there.A test light will help you figure this out too.

Is it your wiring or is it the bulb sockets. The reverse light sockets are in a bad spot and are prone to rusting out, so if the wiring all appears to be good I would check the sockets themselves and replace if necessary. I replaced mine with some generic sockets. Pulled the bad ones out and had to enlarge the hole slightly but they work great now.
