Well, after completely rebuilding the stock Hitachi last year, the acceleretor pump bit the dust.
I decided it was WEBER TIME!! Got the Redline conversion kit, and using the Youtube video of the install for referance, she's Weberized!

The Redline kit is great, and the Youtube video was especially helpful in knowing what to remove from the stock carb and how to mount it to the Weber.
My black phenolic spacer was intact, so I bolted the adapter(s) to it rather than to try to remove it.
I also got a 3 nipple fuel filter (for an 81 jeep application) designed for the fuel return line.

All told about 2 hours and $350 invested.
Worth every bit of it!

(just need my Offy intake now........)

Thanks

I found it here:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=22497&hilit=weber+install

The music is, IMO, unnecessary and distracting, but the video has several helpful tips.
(in the video, it shows him Qwiksteeling the vaccum ports. I don't like this idea, because if that epoxy plug ever falls out, it's going right into the motor.... I just plugged the exterior ports with caps.)

Glad it help. This is how we did back in the late 70's. Ask ten mechanics how to do one thing and get ten different answers. Epoxy used after cleaning it with brake cleaner has worked for me in the past with no epoxy ever coming off. The other way is if the manifold is off and you drill and tap it from the underside and plug it with a set screw. For me when plugging it from the outside with a rubber cap or hose, down the road years later it can leak and you have trouble finding the vacuum leak. And there is still other ways to plug them. Good luck with which ever way you choose.

I did it with and without music.
Here are the same video with no music.

I really love the way my LUV runs with the Weber. Never looked back.

Mine specifically said "for LUV" but it's the same kit, distributed by Redline.
The one in the link will work fine. It is the one I bought from Redline,(includes all the same stuff.) and the one referenced in the video above. (Weber 32/36 DGEV.)
The provided adapters will allow it to bolt to the stock intake.
The Offenhauser is designed FOR the Weber, so it bolts up directly; no adapter.
A wise purchase, IMHO.

Yup.
I'm currently running mine on the stock intake, and will swap it to the Offy when I get it.
Far superior to even a freshly rebuilt stock carb. (which I had...and the accel pump died. Hitachi crap...)
