I have notice LUV motors love advance and respond well to curve kit. I live in 2700ft and can get away with the lightest springs, but when I go into Los Angeles I have notice it will ping just off idle unless I run premium gas. With the light and medium spring I can run low grade gas and not ping at all and get good throttle responce at 2700ft and at sea level. Use a timing light with dial back timing advance and gragh your curve according to rpm vs timing. My curve is in all in by 2800 rpm.
