i need to pull the stock motor. i took off accessories and such but dropped the small cup of bolts/nuts i had removed at the yard where my truck is. i looked .. no luck.

what is the size nut on the exhaust manifold side so i can go pick some up and some washers so that i can have somewhere to hook the chain to pull the motor

and also the circle stud in the picture. what size nut would that be?

i cant wait until this truck is in a more convenient location for me to work on it. i do thank everyone here who has helped me out with my troubles of not having full 24hour access to my truck when id like to

Kyle

Take your 12mm metric wrench with you to a hardware store for reference - since that is the wrench that fits the nuts. The same nuts fit both intake and exhaust manifolds. You will be looking for metric nuts and the stud will have the same threads.

It would be best to take a nut off the manifold since they are the same size and take it inside whatever store you go to and match it up. Alot of stores have a bolt/stud board for this purpose. If where you go doesn't have one just try threading the nut on different bolts until you find the right one. Metric of course.

They are an 8-1.25. Don't buy nuts and bolts at Home Depot, expensive trash. Hit an auto parts store or real hardware. I buy all mine at my local Ace hardware dirt cheap for good stuff.
