Hi everyone, I just got my 1980 LUV about 3 days ago. It is a pile, but I only paid $200 for it so how could I go wrong? I'll get some pics of it up later but I can say it needs....well...everything. My goal right now is to get it to pass missouri inspection (without cheating!). So far I have a few burned out bulbs, my wiper motor is mostly shot and my parking brake doesn't work (sort of important with a manual) and it is in the shop right now getting an exhaust put on. I have wanted a LUV for a while and needed a new project so it seemed to work. Right now the motor is running like crap, I think it may be the vac advance or the carb is messed up. Seems to get better once it warms up. I have a webber 38 sitting around I'm going to put on it. I'm going to be on here a TON with this truck, I know it's going to fight me every bit of the way. I just wanted to say hi and if anyone has any tips let me know. Thanks
