Well my daughter tells me the 4X4 is acting weird and clunking. So I drove it to the store tonight. When I got back I rolled under it and the rear u joint is coming apart. But the clunking has me thinking the diff is letting go also. I'll have to fix the u joint and the drive it to see whats up. :roll:

Fix the U-Joint and you will find that the clunk will be gone as well.

When the u-joint gets loose the sound will travel up the drive shaft making it sound 10 times louder then it really is but on the good side it gets you to the problem before you have to walk.

I was gone working all week. A Monday -Tuesday thing became "finally getting home Friday night!" So I'm going to fix it today.
