Well I went to bleed my brakes finally to get them working right and I have the rear brakes bled and working great. For some reason after bleeding the front brakes the front don't work. I have all the air out of the lines. Fluid comes out the bleeder smooth but it seems the brakes aren't closing. I spin the wheel and have the wife hit the brakes and they don't stop.
How much travel should the pedal have. it seems mine only has about 2 inches before it stops. i can loosen the front bleeder and it still only travels the same. Normally I thought it should go to the floor with the bleeder open.
Does the por valve have to be hooked up in order for them to work right. It is a new master cylinder but I wonder if the vaccuum canister is bound up somewhere inside not letting the pedal travel far enough. I have another I guess could put on. I wouldn't think the motor needs to be running either.
I wouldn't think the line loc would have any effect on it either.
Any ideas.

correct me if i am wrong but doesnt the line lock lock up the front brakes so the back wheels spin freely?

if this is true is it possible to put it on backwards so instead of locking up the breaks it actually keeps fluid from reaching the calipers thus not allowing them to move?

I haven't got the line loc hooked up electrically yet. Just plumbed in for the fluid to go through. It should only lock up the front when I hit the button. There is fluid going through the line but the brakes don't lock.
