HELP...after rebuilding the carb, which I thought was the problem, my stock 78 Luv will start but won't keep running. If I hold the key in the start position it will continue to run but we all know what this does for your starter!!!!!!The ignition switch is OK but I don't know what to check next. Suggestions please....

sounds like you're not getting fire to the coil without the remote wire.. maybe in the ignition switch..

Checked the ignition sw...seems to be OK. Tested and cleaned fuse block. Ran a jumper to the coil....new twist today, it won't start at all. Is there a relay I'm missing somewhere. This is a real pain in the a@@....
