I finally got the new motor in my p/u friday (everybody say "yay") only took five years to get it back in.
ok , need a favor. could sombody please take me a couple shots of the trans linkage?
my clutch cable wont fit back through the block to trans plate
i put several clucths in it over the years( used to be fun to shift into 1st @ 45mph downhill engine braking or breaking never saw a difference
anyway, the loop on the fork end wont slide through the seat lines up but the end is too fat. everything is lined up correctly i just dont know if the made scientist swapped out backing plates or what?
i think they might have put a cable from a mighty max on there ya know?
but the sleeve is the luv sleeve.
if some of you would be so kind as to climb under your stock truck and send me a pic i would be eternally gratefull
also.hemet califonia has a rolling body for 300 bucks on craigslist.com
