I was thinking of swapping my 76' luv tranny for a 5spd isuzu. Problem is i dont know what years transfer over. I was just talking to a guy at a local isuzu junkyard and he said their computer said that isuzu pup trannys wont work. I know hes just going off what his computer told him, but im know ive seen guys here swap to 5 spds. Does anyone know what years of pups transfer over to a 76'? I was sure it was something like 82'-87' but i could be wrong.

Read the topic then keep in mind that there computers like the inter change manuals will not show this as a direct swap because of the trans yoke difference i have been through this a lot (kinda like going to Schucks) so read here and you can not go wrong.
