 Post subject: muffler question

Location: renton wa
over the week end i put my rebuilt motor in my little truck complete with the weber carb and offenhouser intake (runs great) but when i disconnected the muffler system from the old exaust manifold there was no donut hole gasket off the manifold. does it require one
