for the last few days I've been measuring once and cutting twice. The reason being I have never listened to music in my Luv since there was no exsisting radio, speakers, wires, nothing at all.. So I went and bought a full setup. Sony Xplod CD player, Xplod 6.5" front speakers, Xplod 6"x9" rear speakers. But the place in the dash where the radio goes is occupied by a Cobra C.B. back to the drawing board. Took the seats out and the door panels off and three days later I have a Luv with a stereo. Going outside to take pictures in a mintute. I tried to do a Luvtruck search on stereo pictures but got nothing. Lets see some stereo pics........ :smt025

I've got the exact same setup in my truck, all Xplod. I don't have any pictures, but I will try to get some eventually.

I kept the original AM radio that came with my truck. It was busted when I first got it, but I managed to make it work again. I had to replace the speaker and re-wire a couple things here an there.. Of course, I dont really listen to AM radio, I barely listen to Radio at all. I usually just like to plug in my ipod and listen to what I got..
On the space below the glove box, i put in a Sony CDX-F7005X stereo. Its pretty cool, has a remote, am fm, cd player, and the best part would be the aux connection in the back. For the front, I used these speakers i had from a home theatre system i had which was busted. I managed to put four 4-inch speakers on the sides, behind the seat and a ten inch woofer and amp behind the seat. And still managed to keep room for the jack, rod to bring down spare tire, jumper cables, tire irons, and a bag of tie-down straps. I'm a six foot-300 lb guy, and still fit pretty comfortably in the truck. I guess the best part of it all is that I kept the original AM stereo!!! :D

Here are some pics of my set up; still need to pretty it up, but sounds awesome.. :smt117

I like your setup dfootballbeast. If you look under the steering wheel in the second picture you'll notice a cord. My reciever has a built in ipod connection. You control the ipod through the reciever. I love it. :ebiggrin
