I am putting it back in and i can't figure out where that spring goes on it any ideas?

It's been awhile since I worked on the rear brakes and e-brake cable. But I know the cable runs through the back of the dust plate and then the I think the spring is on that side of the plate.
I don't have my manual with me right now.

The spring is on the handle the one i am talking about it like holds the ebrake in place with that metal piece.
