did you know you can use any key to start a luv truck, if the doors are unlocked

thats not true put the key in the ignition a little bit and turn it works to any luv truck 1970 to 1980

my buddy has five luv truck and it works on all of the but if the door are locked you and do it

I have a 76,78 and a 79.
That would work on the 78 and 79 because the ignition is so worn that a screwdriver will work to start em.
But on the 76 the ignition is still in good enough condition that only the key will work.

Which proves the ignitions are worn out since the same key works both and the ignition switch gets used a lot more than the door locks. :smt047

i take 3 keys with me to the wrecking yards, my trucks and 2 others with different cuts to find switches that the keys will work in so i have extra switches and in the last three years i found 2 that would work.... but never the doors(wanted a complete set)... but my truck when i bought it any key would work the driver door and switch they where so worn out...

well i found out that my luv key works to open alot of other doors of cars lol. i know they are worn but none of my other keys work, just something about the luv key turns the magic on and its all good from there
