I don't think these will work.

http://www.rockauto.com has the correct part. There is currently a close out on lowers for $16.20 each. (They only have 3 left as I write this.)

Beck/Arnley Part #1014061.

You can search by this PN on the site, or just use the pull down menus to get to a '79 Luv/Suspension/Ball Joint.

Good luck in your search, I'm pretty sure NAPA has these too.
