Can anyone post me up some pics of a Hydraulic clutch setup.

Ive struck a hurdle. Im not catchin any breaks lately.

Just checked the 85 space cab, just about to put it in the shed and swap the 2.6L into it. I had an inkling that the rego was due soon. Had a look at the sticker, it was due on the 10/11/07. That means i have been driving it around with no rego for 12 months. The renewal must not have showed up last year so it slipped through and never got paid.
The re rego it i have to get a full roadworthy and take all the paperwork into the rego office and do it again from scratch.
It wont pass the inspection as the motor leaks oil and blows smoke. The air pump is not working properly and it backfires really bad on deceleration and the exhaust needs to be replaced.
I do have plans for a 3.8L Holden V6 (Buick) and 5 speed, chassis mode for a dually rear end and a white paint job.

I was thinkin the easier way might be to get the Luv on the road instead. I need a ute/pickup as it gets used a lot and the 85 can get a big birthday if ive got the luv to drive instead.

I have a 5 speed MUA (2.6L) box here to put in the Luv and seeing as mine is a 79 its got a cable clutch. Can i modify it to take a hydraulic master or would i need a hydraulic setup from an earlier luv.

Can anyone help out with some pictures of a hydraulic pedal and the piviot under the dash??

Cheers, Bob.

It does have a license plate so technically it is a street truck, that sets off car alarms and makes kids cry. lol

Cheers, so if it was RHD it would be offset toward ??????

I had a look at the firewall on my RHD truck and there is no obvious place for the Master cyl to go.

Can anyone help out with a pic of a firewall. Even LHD will give me some idea.

Cheers, Bob.

I don't know about you right hand drive guys but i changed my 78 luv from cable to hyd. and it is fairly straight forward and easy.

First i pulled the complete pedal asy. out then you can see on the firewall reinforcement panel inside the mount holes for the hyd. master cyl. this is a carry over from the the early hyd days.I then matched a hole saw to the center hole and drilled it out then drilled the mount bolt holes. Now all you need is the hyd. pedal asy. and the master cyl. plus the tubing and slave and you are good to go.In my case (custom) i used a willwood hyd. asy. but every thing from a early hyd. setup is a bolt in and i assume that you guys had the early hyd. trucks.

I hope this helps you out and you get up and running.
