 Post subject: electrical problems

just got this luv a couple days ago and the first time i popped the hood after driving an hour or so the battery was bulging and leaking acid. replaced the battery. the next day the alternator went out. replaced it. just got home and the new battery is bulging and new alternator is very hot.... please help. the alternator light comes on real dim when i'm driving, you can only see it at night, and sometimes it comes on when i shut the key off. anyone know whats going on?

May also have a serious grounded short in the system causing alternator to go to full charge.
