I don't know everything their talking about, but I did find more info on people who want to do the 5 speed swap and I need the luvtruck guru's to tell me if a s10 transmission will fit on to the g180.

Will the s10 won't bolt up to the stock Luv motors.

I have been at car shows, and heard some hot rodderrs that like to use the S10's 5 speed.
I did see on your link that the s10 would fit an 84 Isuzu. Hmmm

hmmm...kinda confusing cuz if an 84 pup bolts up to the luv and an older s10 had a 1.9 isuzu. maybe its just misinfo on the link though.

i tried to find some more info on this. a couple parts sites say the s10 1.9 motor is an isuzu g200 series motor. maybe it could fit.

woah wait!!! the s10's had isuzu motor in them??? wtf!! why didnt we know this earlier? and they have the g200? well i wish i would have known that!!!
