A factory shop manual has the info. Haynes and Clymer has it as well but not as clear. I found that the factory manual has about the best info and could usually be found on E-Bay for as low as 10 bucks, money well spent in my opinion.

Don't scrimp. I think the service book says you only need to change the gears and chain. Change the idler too. I didn't one time, and boy it was a mistake.

I would think it would be just to save on shipping. I don't know how long parts are available in Japan, on older autos.

Can you get me a new engine, carb, and fuel pump while you're there in Japan?

You know, since you're out, and all.

Yep i need something.

If you could spare some time to look into it for me i would appreciate it.

Im after 2x 1mm OS piston kits for a 1991 DT200R Yamaha.
A few gasket sets and a few engine seal kits.
Also need a con rod kit eventually for the spare engine.

Depending on price of course.
There is aftermarket stuff out there but the prices are killing me.

Im sick of being robbed.
A guy on eBay here in Australia had full gasket sets for YZ125's and YZ250's and other two strokes. $60 each. I asked him about one for the DT and hes like thats $110. Its bullshit, i can buy a full gasket set for my ute for that money and its got a hell of a lot more crap in it. I can get a full gasket set for a DT125R from the UK for $30 plus post and the only difference is the head gasket.

Trust me to pick a bike to fix up that wasnt sold on the US domestic market. And no, i dont fancy talking to Canadians.

Cheers, Bob.

No worries, thanks.

Theres no hurry.
Im crook and on unemployment, money is a bit tight.

Ive just been getting things for the bikes as a sell off a few car parts i dont need.

I did have some cash here but that got chewed up when i had to go off to Hospital last week. Its getting a bit bad when you have to take a 3hr drive out in the country to find a doctor and a hospital that will give you more than an hour in the emergency room on a drip.

Cheers, Bob.

OK guys I have scoured this freaking rock for the past month and a half anyone what to guess what I found. If you guess a 1980 Chevy LUV you are wrong. But if you guess a hole lot of nothing you would win a prize. Who would have thought that in freaking Japan there are not dang Isuzu's. Well at least there is not dealership or any in the junk yards. Sorry guys!!! :(

WTF!?!

At first I thought that was someone's idea of a LUV turned passenger car, then I realized it must be a production model.

Why haven't we seen this before?

What else are you bogart'n?
