I'm trying to get my LUV to run a little cooler. It just doesn't like to sit still. Drivin' down the road, just fine, no matter the temp. Sit in traffic on a hot summer day, and it starts building heat. Same with pulling a trailer. I know it'll pull any trailer that doesn't need brakes, but the uphill pulls kill the cool.
Thinking either a fan shroud (uh, does anyone know if these things exist? Where?) or an electric fan in front.
Summer's comin' on, and it's time to take the boat out! (but the lake's on the other side of town and up a bit of a hill)

What year? It should have a shroud on it. They did come with them.
Is it an a?c truck?
Is the fan solid or on a thermal clutch?
You could also have a radiator getting closed up.

Last time I changed out my thermostat, I had to choices of tempertures.
I also bought a aftermarket "fit's all" flex flan. It has helped for when I go up the hills. =)
