Hey everybody. I was wondering if anybody has been able to conquer the rust on the bed where the panels were spot welded to the box. It seems impossible but i know some people have stopped it somehow. Thanx. I was really hoping to paint it soon but knowing that after sanding and painting the rust would come back through discouraged me.

I say cut it all out and weld in fresh steel.

While you are there make up an inner skin for the tub. That will stop things in the bed from putting dents in the outer skin.
